Comments about Robertshaw Robertshaw 9915i Programmable MultiStage Thermostat, with Fresh Air Control:
This thermostat is more than what I needed for my home, but what attracted me to it was the fact it could be set up for six periods per day, where most others only had four. Another attracting feature, was that it operates the heating system (no cooling needed) based on a temperature differential, where another leading brand operates on "Cycles Per Hour". Perhaps it may be a lack of information or understanding on my part that the CPH theory of operation doesn't make sense, but I preferred to operate based on the actual temperature, rather than X Cycles Per Hour.
The only drawback to this thermostat, is that I've found the backlight interferes with the temperature sensor within the thermostat, causing it to warm and shut off the furnace sooner than desired when making adjustments (the backlight is normally OFF, but turns ON when the buttons are being pressed)
