I had to install 14 of these from 9 foot ceilings to 14 foot cathedral and it was simple. HIGHLY recommend!

I expected the unit to slide completely into the duct which was not the case. It's designed for a duct set about 2" back or above the ceiling's drywall which was not my situation. It's not an issue that can be conveniently or cosmetically overcome.
