I purchased this flex duct to vent my new bathroom fan through the attic to a wall hood in a gable end. Very well made and durable, as well as being well insulated, which will help reduce any condensation forming from warm air being vented through a cold attic.
Very easy to install and very durable - it is perfect for venting bathroom or exhaust fans. I would not recommend it for venting a dryer due to the lint load associated with dryers (use rigid, smooth vent pipe instead) but this stuff works perfectly for other venting needs and was inexpensive yet well made and easy to install in a cramped space.

I have use this duct with a Fantech FR110 Inline Centrifugal Fan - 150 CFM and Fantech DGD4 Designer Exhaust Grill with Integrated Backdraft Damper for 4" Duct . It works. Easy to cut . It is "too flexible" and I was afraid that by curving it too much the air will not flow. May be the wire mesh must be re-designed.

Used to replace an existing uninsulated 4" bathroom fan duct in an unheated attic area. Very satisfied with the product and was even surprised by the amount of insulation surrounding the duct. An excellent product, easy to work with and far superior to uninsulated duct. Well worth the price.

Inner hose is rather thin, and crispy feeling and sounding, with a wire spring that is difficult to cut with small hand tools. Outer jacket seems thick enough, like a really heavy trash bag, just don't snag it on anything. Insulation layer seam is unfinished, so it can easily bunch up to one side, and it is fiberglass so you will be itching later. Overall, works as it should in our bathroom.

I got 25 ft. to do two fans (with three inlets) which are right next to each other, and right next to where they would exhaust. It wasn't enough. For the price, you may as well buy more than what you think you need.

Our ceiling fan leaked in our bathroom from condensation and this was exactly what we were looking for. My husband replaced the old duct work with this and it has worked just great. A very easy to use product for a drastic problem. Thank you!!!!

I used this product to replace 4" duct work in my 34' carver boat. Heat and ac duct work ran through the bilge area unconditioned, perfect replacement choice! works great.

what can you say it's insulated ducting. Did not see similar product at the local big box stores. But it feels like its made of quality materials.
Only pain in the butt is getting the extra back in the box.

Part of replacement project of a shower fan and couple of lights. Orig. duct was cheap 4 in. duct that caused condensation back to old shower fan which discolored drywall on ceiling.
After I finished work, I pull the old duct work out and it was a moist mildew mess inside.

Well insulated product. I would defintely recommend clamps to secure both ends, clamp sizes which allow you to go from 5 1/2" down to maybe 4 1/4". I did not use any metal elbows, and because of out of the way attic install, i was able to make a slow turn. Very happy with product.

Like others have said, it is amazing how much pipe they squeezed into such a small package. Very nice product for venting fans through unconditioned space such as attics and floor joists on multi-level homes.

This Quietflex duct is very good quality, in fact the plastic is quite durable and requires a sharp knife to cut. How 24' of duct can come out of a box that is 3' long is amazing.

This insulated duct worked very well and saved the time of going to the big box store to try and find something similar. To not have to insulate a rigid duct saved a lot of time although insulating a rigid duct would provide the least air flow resistance. This insulated duct is good stuff. Easy to run and easy to cut. I've read some comments that it is difficult to cut. I can not imagine how anyone other than a complete klutz could not cut this stuff. Use a utility knife to cut the insulation and a wire cutter to cut ONE wire and you're done.

just what i was looking for , installing this stuff in an attic will always be a pain in the butt, just take your time and it works just fine. i found that using the metal tape from duct-work is easier than using tie straps

Good quality ducting and plenty of it. Watch out when you open the box, it's packed so tightly it practically jumps out at you. Some previous comments have suggested it is difficult to cut through but I have to respectfully disagree. Make your initial cut with a pocket knife or utility knife and then have a side cutter or light-duty tin snips handy to get through the wire inside. Make sure to have some good sized plastic straps on hand to secure it to the fan, housing, etc.

Installed easily with a new ultra-low-noise bathroom fan. However, caused a lot of noise. Removed it and replaced with ridgid metal ducting. Solved noise issue.

Good quality, must use wire cutters to snip the inside metal coil. Slightly better quality than the stuff that you can buy in national chain stores - worth adding to your order instead of grabbing locally.
