Perfect for micro-voltage gas fireplaces that run without electricity. Also, the limit setting keeps my kids from turning up our living room to 80 degrees, like they did with the old analog thermostat.

Used the LuxPro PSD010B to replace an analog thermostat that was only 2 years old, never could get it set right. I don't have to touch the LuxPro, it maintains the temperature very well. It is used with a hot water heating sys.

This is a great, accurate, thermostat for gas fireplaces that work on micro-voltage (non line-powered) controls. My fireplace has a blower, but it can work without AC. Because this thermostat is battery powered, our fireplace can heat during power failures.

Simple 2 wire install. Easy to set limit.

I wanted to try using these in several Condominiums in a couple of complexes I manage. What I found is that the residents can figure them out in a snap. Why doesn't anyone make a thermostat that only goes to 70 or 71 degrees and be done with it.

I needed a digital product for heat only that could replace an old-technology slider-type vertical thermostat. I was unable to find anything at the local home improvement retailers, and called prothermostats. They quickly recommended this digital model, and it's been great. It intalled in the exact same holes as the old Honeywell, and worked like a charm right out of the box. No need for instructions with this unit! And, the large, backlit display is perfect for an aging handyman like me. I recommend it highly.

The unit is very easy to program the set point. Actually, a little too easy so any tenant with the motivation and internet could change the set point very easy. It took me less than 3 min to find the manual online and program the set point.

It would be nice if the tenants could not tell what the set point was. I'm getting calls that "my thermostat does not let me go higher than 70F". The Jackson Limit-Stat is more discreet but much more expensive.

I bought this in order to put my gas fireplace insert on a thermostat. I had a hard time finding one which looked good and suited my needs, at the local hardware store. This one works great and was easy to install. The display is large and easy to read. It also lights up when you change the temperature .

I bought 8 of these several months ago and I recently bought another 10 since they work so well.

I use these in my small-room rentals and I think that it will take my tenants a long time to figure out the limit stops.

Most of my tenants like to keep the temperature at 80+ and I'm paying the utilities. Hopefully, these will pay for themselves within the first year.

Used in rental unit, only bought one to see how it worked, it's perfect.
Its easy to install, easy to set up(temperature limit) and it is very accurate at maintaining the set temperature ( I tested it in my personnal apartment first)
it has a backlit display which is very useful, most other thermostats I've had, you needed a flashlight to see your settings. I like it so much, that I'm going to use one in my home, I'll be ordering two more shortly
