16" X 25" X 4" MERV 13 Pleated Filter Actual Dimensions - 15-1/2" X 24-1/2" X 3-3/4" NOTE: This filter will not fit media filter cabinets (Honeywell, Trion Air Bear, Bryant/Carrier) that require 4-3/8" or 5" thick filters - please measure your existing filter and compare the actual dimensions with the actual dimensions listed above. Better filtration is the first step in improving Indoor Air Quality. Pleated Panel Filters outperform ordinary furnace filters with higher efficiency and lower pressure drop allowing air-handling systems to stay cleaner and operate more efficiently. We achieve this with 100% synthetic electrostatically charged gradient density media, optimum pleat spacing and high initial and sustained efficiency, high dust holding capacity and very low pressure drop. The media is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, does not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth. Custom built a return air filter box out of galvanized sheet metal that will accept exactly this size filter. HVAC contractors wanted me to purchase "their" filter box and replacement filters. Twenty dollars worth the sheet metal and a Saturday made my own.

The filters seem to be just fine, and at an amazing price compared with the cost when purchasing through a hvac company. But, I didn't read the fine print and this particular filter isn't made for Honeywell (doh !). It's a little too small for the filter housing. Just read the product info more carefully than I did.

These filters were installed in place of a 4" media filter. The regular filters are MERV 10 filters and I desired something greater. These filters seem to work just fine.
