Lennox X8795 Maintenance Kit for PCO20-28 PureAir Air Cleaner. Includes MERV 16 Media Filter, PCO Metal Insert, and UV Lamps This maintenance kit includes: (1) MERV 16 pleated filter model X8788 (1) PCO metal insert model X8791 (2) UV Lamps Model X8794* Replace metal insert and lamps every 24 months. Replace insert more frequently if you notice a significant drop in odor removal efficiency. If you find that you need to replace the insert more frequently than every 24 months, consider source reduction and/or ventilation to reduce the levels of contaminants in your home Note: DO NOT WASH metal insert. Washing will destroy the titanium dioxide catalyst that coats the insert surface. *Bulb shape may appear different depending on supply.

This will be the fourth cooling season that I've had the Lennox XC21 system. As an ex HVAC salesman of all brands for 30 years, I could have installed anything in my home. I chose the Lennox for performance and reliability--high SEER and no service calls. This is my third time replacing the MERV 16 filter, UV light and reactor grid (the kit). The AH sits in a corner in the garage and I installed two 24 x 24 rafbg's on the adjacent walls for good air flow and keep cheap pleated filters in those to catch the dog hair and extend the life of the 5". The Lennox "Clean Air" systems does a great job eliminating odors and keeping the air I breathe free of pollutants.

exact same media that came with the original unit so it fit perfectly and will perform to original specs. The only drawback is the price, but people who bought Lennox Pureair's are not nearly as worried about price as much as air quality

This Lennox kit contains a filter, 2 UV light bulbs and a titanium metal insert that works with the UV bulbs to kill bacteria. Very easy to install - you just need to be careful with the bulbs and not force them. Pay close attention before you remove the old ones to see how far the new ones need to go in the socket.
