2-pack Original Factory Replacement FC40R1029 20" x 30" x 5" (actual size 19 3/4" X 29 3/4" X 4 3/8" MERV 10 Replaces older Honeywell model number F35R. The FC40R Return Grille Filter is a high-efficiency, long-life replacement for return grille applications. It captures a significant amount of the airborne particles in the air that circulate through the filter. (Honeywell recommends allowing a depth of seven inches behind the grille to provide space for the deeper filter and airflow through the filter.) Honeywell recommends changing your filter once a year. It may be necessary to replace it sooner depending on the conditions in your home. FEATURES • Mounts in most third party return filter grilles (features integral gasket around upstream side of filter). • Provides high-efficiency alternative to one-inch filter. • Captures particles as small as 0.3 micron. • Pleated filter for greater media capacity. • Easy installation. We had a new heat pump unit installed a year ago and had a difficult time finding a replacement filter. For the price of one from the contractor I was able to buy two from here! Savings add up and even though you only have to replace the filter once a year... I'm glad to have two!

changing from Filtrete 1250 to this, I have noticed improved air flow, and I hope less back pressure. This filter costs approx 3x the cost of the filtrete I was using, but, I hope to get 3-6 months between changes compared to changing monthly.

Great product, but, because of limited sizes available, we spent considerable time cutting the filter to fit our return opening...we had to buy the 20 x 30, but our system needed a 16 x 30...so you figure how much we had to do to fit the product...it's good that we don't have to look at doing it again for about a year (hopefully).

This is the only filter I will ever use!
