The M847D is a two position, 24 Vac spring return, direct mount actuator designed to operate ARD and ZD zone dampers. It was very easy to replace my defective unit. You just need an allen wrench to install the new unit. Saved lots of $$$$ by doing it myself.

We have a three zone central cooling/heating system with six of these ARD actuators. Two of our actuators stuck in the close position. It was a easy five minutes job to replace each actuator. But make sure you have a 1/8 inch hex wrench which is required to replace the actuator.
