I was looking for a way to remove the small valve from a small green 16.4 oz DOT-39 propane cylinder. This is the small bicycle looking valve about an inch off center from the main valve with the threads that you use to screw on the cylinder to your propane using device. I wanted the dump site to be assured that there was no propane left in the cylinder. I recently acquired a propane powered string trimmer as well as a propane powered lawn mower, both by Lehr. The regular tire valve removal tool I had was too big. Just poke the pliers down and turn counterclockwise to unscrew the valve. Works great.
