Why would I want to move air from one space to another? Similar to the function of the EntreeAir, you may want to move heat from a fireplace to an adjacent space. Similarly, you may want to move cooled air from a window air conditioner to an adjacent space. In other applications: -Move heated or cooled air into a garage from the house. -Move heated or cooled air from one room to another if there is a great difference in temperatures between the two rooms. I.e. one room is nice and warm in the winter. The room next to it, located over an unheated garage is always cold. Simply blow air from the warm to the cold room. -Vent a room that always seems stuffy. -Move air in or out of an All Season room. -Vent a TV or family room with a smoker. -Move air between floors. Which way does the air flow? The air flows towards the side of the fan with the cord/plug. How much air does the ThruWall move? The ThruWall has a powerful 2-speed fan system. On high speed air movement is 200 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). On low speed air movement is 160 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM). Can I reverse the direction that the air flows? No. You will determine the direction of the airflow when installing the ThruWall. If you would change you mind at a later date, you can re-mount the ThruWall to blow in the other direction. How much electricity does the ThruWall use? The ThruWall uses 60 Watts on High speed and 50 Watts on Low speed. Similar to a medium sized light bulb. How do I control fan speed? The ThruWall has a High - Low speed rocker switch with Center Off position. How quiet is the ThruWall? Very quiet. The sound levels are 51dBA on high speed and 49dBA at low speed. This sound level compares to the sound of a desktop computer fan. How do I get power to the ThruWall? The ThruWall has a 10 foot long power cord with grounded plug. In what wall thickness can I install the ThruWall? The ThruWall installs in any wall 3.5" to 6.5" thick. The two halves of the fan unit telescope to accommodate different wall thicknesses. Is the ThruWall safe? Yes. The ThruWall has been rigorously tested to the Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL®) standards. The through the wall portion of the housing is made of galvanized sheet metal, the grilles are high impact flame retardant ABS. The electric motor is a Class B, Thermally Protected motor.

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

I couldn't get our master bedroom or my daughters room (both on the 2nd fl) above 64F. I installed 2 fans upstairs to draw the heat from our wood burning stove in the living room on the 1st fl. I am amazed, I have had both rooms in the low to mid 70's by just running the fans for about 1 1/2 hours while the stove is burning and the best part is the rooms hold the heat for hours and hours! I am very happy with this product!

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

We purchased this fan to help move air from the room which has our woodstove to the bedroom, and it works very well at keeping a temperature equilibrium between the two rooms. It's been very helpful at warming up the bedroom on colder nights!

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

I bought two units to move air from pellet stove around the house. I installed them immediately and they've been in over 3 weeks now. The units work great! They were easy to install. You can definately feel the difference in the room where the pellet stove is installed. (You know, the room that is so hot you don't want to stay in it) They are installed so that it will also move cool air in the summertime to a room that has no AC! Great purchase and definately one of the cheapest places to buy. I searched many different sites on the internet. Don't be fooled by people complaining they are loud. Would they rather freeze? If you have forced hot air in your home, they are no louder than the noises your vents make. Just purchase them already!

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

I use this fan to transfer heated air from a woodburning insert in a small den into the adjoining rooms. Even at the low speed it does the job well. This fan was easy to install - I did hardwire it through the wall to hide the cord. The only thing I can complain about is the wall anchors supplied were not very good, but for 79 cents, I upgraded to better ones.

Easy to install for a person of average skill, not as quiet as I had hoped, but will move alot of air, would not use in a small bedroom if you were trying to sleep while fan was on. Good product for the price.

Great fan at a great price. Easy straightforward installation. Only negative is it would be nice to have the option to hard wire the unit and avoid the thick cord on the wall.

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

I use this fan to vent hot air out of my home office. With so many PCs and other equipment running it can get uncomfortably hot. I used to place a fan by the door to blow the how air out of the room but this fan does the job and is out of the way. Best of all the installation was simple.

I must admit I was a little worried about cutting huge holes in my walls but forged ahead anyway. A small dry wall saw ($5) from your local hardware store and you're in business. The installation is incredibly simple and it fits secure and flush.

I also wanted the cord to run down inside the wall and then come out closer to the outlet. The unit is made so that you can pretty much do what you want with the cord and you aren't forced to have it on the side it is defaulted to. I was happy to find this out as I didn't see any reviews detailing if this was possible or not.

I will be ordering one more of these fans very soon for another room.

Comments about Suncourt Suncourt -- ThruWall Room to Room Fan (TW108):

I had to modify my air flow to go through a closet too, but just added about four feet of pipe and now my bedroon, which used to be at about 48 degrees F is now about 63 degrees F. with the same amount of fire (wood stove). My wife is much happier, which means I too, am much happier. I am a manager in the construction trades and I already have refered people to this product. Thanks.

We use a total of 6 fans. 4 thru wall units and 2 corner doorway units. We heat our 8000 sq ft house using 2 corn stoves and our master bed is over the garage. These fans located in the proper position make all the difference in the world when moving air from one room to another creating a more stable temperature throughout the house.
