Fits inside a duct 90 when you cut off the tabs.
The inside twists so you can aim it where you need to. Best vent I have found to date for soffits. Use a back draft vent before you use the soffit vent to stop the cold from going back into the house.

we use it for a first floor bathroom vent, It would have been great if it had a flapper built into it. Lucky for us the exisitng fan had a flapper on it.

Bought 3 to vent bathroom exhaust fans. Quality good on all 3 units. Install easily. I used 90d duct elbow at vent instead of flexible hose which required me to open the ends of the 90d elbow to fit over the vents. If using flexible duct, should be no extra work involved.

Bought this with a new Panny fan. I went with a soffit discharge vice roof just so I didn't have to cut another hole there. Honestly the screen is a good size, it's not there to stop insects, it is there for bigger critters. The same size is on all roof vents, dryer vents, etc.

Used this vent in addition to a standard sofitt vent in a high wind area where air was blowing back into bathroom through vent/duct. Eliminated reverse airflow.

The only things that could improve this product would be a finer screen to keep out insects and a larger flange so that the cut-out wouldn't have to be as accurate, plus it would leave more room to caulk around it.

great product, looks good and very easy to install the only thing is screen thats included its mesh are too big so I put another piece of reg window screen on top of it so no insects could come in the vent

The right way to get the steam out of your bathroom is to make sure you vent it outside. Did not want to put another hole in the roof, and since the lines were just dropped into the soffit, I wanted them to get outside with the steam much better...This did the job, and you can adjust the air flow direction..

The vent is small enough so not to be obtrusive. However, it was delivered without the screen. One call had the required screen delivered to our home in a couple days.

Replaced a 2nd floor bathroom exhaust fan and duct. The original fan was never vented outside. I decided to vent through the soffit instead of the roof to avoid any potential leaks.

This part was exactly what I needed and part quality was good for the price. The only difficulty was the tight space available to work with above the soffit.

Had to exhaust a bath fan through soffit, this prouduct with the lowprofile elbow fit perfect in the limtited space and allows adjustment to the direction of the airflow exhaust, ie to direct away from built in attic soffit vents.

Our home is a split level home and some of the bath vents exit from a soffit. The old vents were made to exhaust air back onto the exterior surface of the home. At times, you could see moisture condensing and running down the exterior surface.

With these new vents, we were able to quickly and easily get the exhausted air away from the home.

I would recommend these to everyone.

Great vent solution. Easy to install. Took about an hour with a cordless drill a 4" hole saw and some screws. Great quality and looks great.

This vent is a great solution for a bathroom fan that you don't want to (or can't) vent through the roof. A 4" hole saw makes installation a snap - literally, it just snaps into the hole! The rotating grille is a good feature. Might be better with a "flapper" to prevent back flow. I'm waiting to see if insects try to get in when warmer weather arrives - the included screening has rather large holes. Over all a great device!

This was a very simple product, easy to install (except the cramped attic space), does its job well. The louvers are adjustable directionally so you can change the direction the air flows easily

Well made of good materials, I'd recommend this vent for the application described- exhausting air from a bathroom. The built-in screen is a plus, as on a previous job I've had to cut and install mesh on a vent outlet.

Product was the right size for my application fit easily into 4" duct. The flange was a little large for my soffit and the part was easy to trim to fit.

This product allowed me to use existing ductwork in the attic which was run to the soffits by the builder. A 4" hole saw, adjustable elbows, stainless screws, foil tape - and some quality time in the attic - and the fans are now vented outdoors. Great product for my application.

Very easy to cut for fitting. Just used a utility knife.
