This ceiling mounted bathroom fan is the best. It has very bright lights plus a night light and the best part about it is that the fan noise is minimal. Compared to the Nutone one we had, the Nutone was too noisy and was not as strong as the Panasonic is. Once we powered the Panasonic fan on we were very happily surprised at how quiet it is and how the lights are considerably brighter. We installed it with a timer switch for the fan and night light and another switch just for the flourescent lights. Works great. Highly recommended.

Had to replace on old, loud and cheap unit installed by the builder. Although the new fan came with the hint that it is to be installed before the ceiling is closed, it tried it anyway and was able to get it in. The clever design of this unit allowed to first install the electric and duct unit first and get everything connected thru the existing celling opening. Once that was done, the rest was as easy as it could be; just connect the cables for fan motor (very short though) and the lights. Then push the motor unit into the opening until it snaps into place, secure with a couple of screws and switch it on. Quiet and effective.

After installing a Fantech in my last house it worked well but had service issues.
Now I only use Panasonic bath fans. My only complaint is to install these fans you must make the opening about 3-4 inches longer than the main fan opening to allow you to slip in the nose piece extension that attaches the duct and electrical. The main part of the fan is very robust with a larger than normal fan. That is why this fan uses the extension.
I got around that by removing the nose and installing it above from my attic. But doing it by myself was tedious. I have the skills to repair the extra long opening but in this case that was not what I wanted to do as it will be years before I repaint the bathroom.
Please keep in mind that ANY bath fan will be tough to install with an existing ceiling. I don't recommend it for amateurs.
The Panasonic fans are quiet, powerful and built like a brick outhouse. They should last a long time. When you compare them with others the quality is awesome on the Panasonic. The others, are just plain junk.
The anti back draft valve on the Panasonic's allows some air to blow in from the outside. This is not a problem for me as the fans vent to my South. Still the problem is easily solved by using a good outside vent with a good flapper. Don't forget the bird screen.
As for IAQ source I found them to have some of the best prices with fast service. The only reason that I might not buy from them again is I have replaced all the fans in my house. Well then again there is that kitchen fan.

I installed it in a finished drywall ceiling. Had to enlarge the hole. The unit came apart in enough pieces to allow installation without a lot of hassle or making a mess. The small wiring box is a pain but works. Very quiet and really moves air. Overall an excellent unit. I would recommend to anyone.

I purchased two of these units. They do a good job venting the bathrooms, have a nice amount of light output, and are relatively quite for the amount of air they move.

This unit is powerful and quiet compared to other brands. You can see the quality
as soon as you open the box. The only issue is the junction box is small and hard to cram in all the wires. The box should be made bigger.
I have added it to my preferred list, and will
use this brand in the future.

This is my second Panasonic fan. This fan is super quiet and was easy to install. Only beef is the electrical connection box is way too small for all the connections to fit.

I love this fan/light combination! We installed this fan in our master bath. It lights the room perfectly, and for the first time in 20+ years I can step out of the shower with no steam or condensation on the mirrors or walls. It is so quiet that you forget that it is even on.

Installation would have been easier in new construction. Solved the excessive moisture problem in a small bathroom. I will upgrade to the 150cfm model with heat source when completing new bathroom in house extension.

I had this installed by an electrician so I cannot comment on installation. This product was recommended by my plumber for my bathroom remodel. It appears to work well. I am disappointed that it is noisier than I expected. I would have preferred a model which was much quieter. I do like the night light option which I have wired separately.

This is a very well designed and built bath fan. Unlike the Nutone/Broan units, it has a steel damper and outlet with rubber pads to lower the sound level. Very smooth motor, quiet and powerful. To gain full controls for the fan, light and nightlight it requires three switches. The price on-line was 35% below the local distributors price, making it competitive with the lower priced manufacturers. I'll be installing many of these in the future.

We only install Panasonic fans because they are easy to install and give the consumer the biggest bang for their dollar. We have had a few small problems with parts/bulbs etc., but IAQ has ALWAYS sent us whatever needed to solve the problem. This company is great to work with. After reading many reviews, Panasonic's bathroom vents seemed to come out ahead in every category. Overall I've been very happy with the product, but the install was a little complicated in my case (old house).
Design / Construction:
The design, materials and overall construction of the Panasonic unit are top notch. The modular construction (outer case, mounting hardware, fan unit, light unit) mean in many cases the install will be easy. The unit is well engineered, no rattles or buzzes from loose fitting parts. The grille is a very clean design so it will fit in with many decors. Doesn't sacrifice form for function or function for form.
Installation:
In new construction and perhaps retrofit in a newer home, this should install very easily. Again, the modular nature and clear instructions make this possible. However, if you have an older home (mine was built in about 1880) it's a little complicated. The elecrical connection box opens towards the bottom, facing the upper surface of the ceiling. In new construction this makes for super easy, from-below wiring. However in a home with lath and plaster ceiling with new drywall over the plaster, it's darn near impossible to get the wires stuffed back in and the cover on and secured....there just isn't any space (doing this while sweating like crazy up in the attic above the bathroom doesn't make it any more pleasant either). So, if you're in this situation, you may want to find a way to get it wired up before screwing the unit into the joists.
Operation:
Flawless. Near silent, my wife has left it on a couple times because she forgot it was running...not the case with the old Broan unit. No more fog on the mirror or feeling like you're in some foggy bog after taking a shower. Light is bright and does a great job of illuminating the whole bathroom (being fluorescent, does it more efficiently too). Does everything it should.
Summary:
Only thing keeping it from being 5-stars was the install in my case. In operation, I can't imagine there being a better bathroom exhaust fan.
