This is considered THE standard radon mitigation fan by many. This fan was easy to install, but the instructions were pretty minimal. That is no problem for most experienced DIY homeowners, but if you knew nothing about electricity, you might wonder if you were doing it properly (you supply the cord or hard-wiring.) The openings are sized perfectly for Schedule 40 PVC. That's a big plus.
There are many factors in reducing radon, so your results may vary. I'm getting about 1/2" W.C. at the slab entrance but it is plenty for my system. I tied into drain tile at a single point and my radon reading went from 5.3 to 0.6 with this fan. Very happy with this fan.

We had radon gas in our last house and installed this product it stayed with the house when we sold. It worked so well when we moved into our new house and found we had radon gas we installed a new one. It has been too soon to test to see if it has brought the level down. I would recommend this product, works great.

I agree with the other positive reviews. From no fan in the system to with the fan in the system the radon level dropped about 60% (the $130 radon measuring device on the market 'siren...' do not think gives very accurate measurments, but procentage wise the drop should give an idea). I might say that the humidity in the basement dropped, too - I hope is not just the change to winter.
Installed in my system the fan consumption is 75W
I hope will survive years to come - never found reliablity data.

Product was easy to install once I figured out how to seal my sump pump hole. It is very quiet & seems to move a lot of air. My radon level was 9 it is supposed to be below 4. I've only had it running 1 week & a book I read suggests 2 weeks to retest. Sorry I can't give result yet. It seems to be working as advertised.

Glad I put the radon pipes in the floor as I was building and ran the pipe up thru a concealed area into the attic.Sure enough after I moved in and checked the radon level it was reading over 10.Today after I istalled the fantech 2190 radon fan it is reading below 3 and continues to come down daily as I just put it in last week.nice unit

Very easy to install in attic. Quiet, in fact I need to open attic to hear if it is running. Make sure you buy a cord with plug of the correct length plus the two rubber joints to connect to PVC pipe at hardware store.

Easy to install on my new construction with pre-installed radon pipes. Just cut the pipe, put in the sleeves to connect the pump to both ends of the pipe, plug in and bye bye radon. My radon levels went from 36-38 to under two with this installed. A local radon mitigation service quoted me $800. I did it myself in about 30 minutes for under $200.

I am using the product to rid my basement of moisture. By moving the moist air out my basement is staying dry and there is no mold issues. The alternative to this was another product on the market which was 5-6 times the cost for the same effect.
