Spray it on, let it sit and then rinse it off. It's easy to use and works well. It's hard to get between the fins in the electronic filter (nothing fits well and they are sharp) and get them clean. The spray does a good job of contacting all surfaces for cleaning.

I have been cleaning my electronic filter for ten years. Using scalding hot water, brushes, and various cleaners, but this one is the best I've ever tried. I cleaned the usual way, but then sprayed on Dax, and was amazed how much grim still was in the filter. The water ran dark when I sprayed it off.

Dax is a good product. It does the job. I sprayed it onto the filters and rinsed them 2-3 times and then let the filters dry for 24 hours or so. If you follow the directions on the bottle you can't go wrong.
When the spray bottle starts to get low the sprayer has to be held at a specific angle to get the spray out properly. Otherwise, the product is great and does the job.

I used this product several times. I sprayed, I let the cell soak in it, I rinsed, then I did it again. I did this several times, and still it didnt clean the black stuff off of my cells.

I use this cleaner on my electronic cell whole house air filter and it works the best out of any product I have used before. It doesn't take a lot of product to do the job either.

I tried using regular cleaners on the cells and it wouldn't stop arcing. After I used Dax the difference was immediate. The unit runs without arcing and I will use nothing else in the future except Dax. I had to inform the installer as he was unaware of this product and he now knows that it works.
