These filters do an excellent job of keeping the home dust-free and last 6 months or more.
Installation of a new filter is not very difficult, although not just a matter of sliding a filter into place. Given the length of service and filtration level, the time spent is worth it.

The only draw back to the filter is installing the plastic spacers that hold the accordion filter in place. But I think there has been redesign that has done away with the spacers.

simple, easy, and affordable. No frills.. just a filter. Replacing an accordion style is different, but not too hard. If you're not mechanically inclined, the instructions are helpful (even if you are they're worth skimming over so you don't tear it up :) ).

This filter is for a April Aire which in most cases is difficult to find and install for a home owner. You usually have to use a service person for both. The product arrived in a very narrow box, surprisingly. Since there were two in the box, it was even stranger, but once you install them in the drawer-like holder, it makes sense. Installation is easy if you pay attention to the included instructions, and next year it will be a breeze to swap out -- now that I've done it once. Definitely happy and would be happy to order from this company again in the future.

Getting the first pleat separator in the filter is the trick. After the first one is insatlled the rest go fairly easy. I just installed the filter so I dont know how it is going to perform.

These filters appear to be of the same high quality as the OEMs but at a significant savings. We normally purchase these filters in a "savings" pack - usually 2 filters at a time. We saved about $10 on the cost of these filters over the OEMs.
They fit the same, install the same, feel the same, and so far seem to function the same as the OEMs.... we won't be going back as long as we can get these quality filters at a savings!

If this is what your Lenox system uses.. it is fine and you only need to change it every year or year and a half.. just take a little while to change and it's not easy to do it under the house. It's better to get the box out and do it in the light of day then take it back under the house.

As a new homeowner, this was a great low-cost replacement for the media filter on my furnace. Ultimately, the filter system cuts the airflow too much, so I am using a 16"x25"x1" 3-month filter during the peak summer months so that my AC will cool my house more efficiently. I will re-try the media filter once the weather cools down.

I take care of my mom's home and Mom is on fixed income. Furnace guys charged $100 to simply change out filter. Watched the provided video with this product and this filter was a snap to install in 5 to 10 minutes, and looks as good as what I replaced. Don't be afraid to "do-it-yourself." This is easily done and you save major bucks. (Did not give 5-star rating only because I need a few months to track how the filter is actually performing.)

Good alternative to aprilaire - somewhat lesser quality but a good fit. Took a bit longer to install due to pleats sticking together at the ends but otherwise would reorder the same for the price difference.

The products fit and work fine. The filter housing design is pretty poor. When I use up my remaining filters, I will absolutely upgrade to the iaqsource system that eliminates the pleat spacers.

Installed the filter, fit well. Installed same as OEM. No issues with glue, like better than strings, no holes in filter. In 2 week have not noticed any difference in performamce vs OEM.

The comb spacers that splay the filter out are a bit of a pain unless you actually read the suggestions on the box. With that it goes pretty quickly. Kneeling in a cramped attic, took me about 10 minutes from start to finish.
If you don't want to deal with the spacer, they also offer a more expensive version that doesn't need them.

instead of strings, this glues the pleats together. Don't get too agressive separating the pleats with the plastic spacers and you should be fine. I imagine it works as well as OEM but i'll let you know in about 6 months if the pleats delaminate, etc.......

Have 4 HVAC units. Ordered two a couple of months back and they installed OK, but noticed media was VERY thin. Just received two more and the SPECIAL glue tabs had run over to every baffle which meant a few tears and difficult install - Again VERY thin and not consistant. Will have to go back to my old supplier.

I have two Aprilaire Filters for two central HVAC Units. I have used Aiprilaire filters for 5 years. This time I bought these BestAir Pro products. I will not make that mistake again. Along the edge, where Aiprilaire uses strings, this product uses glue. When I opened the 1st package I noticed a hole in the filter (where the glue had seperated) and an end was folded over. I disgarded this unit and tried the second which was in better shape. The filter material looks to be easily punctured (based on the first unit) and the glue system looks like it is prone to seperating. Given Aiprilaire's teeth system, I highly recommend you buy the original manufacturers products.

Works fine, but the sheets tear very easily when trying to separate them for the rake going across. Sounds silly, but if you've used the are filters for the APRIL AIR 2400, [...] We'll see how they hold up.

I didn't realize that I was just buying the medium instead of the whole filter. My mistake. It took me about 15 minutes to change it out, but I could do it in 5 now. It was a good deal and I got it pretty quick.

This was a cheaper alternative than the original Space-Gard that I had been purchasing, but it is reflected in the cheaper materials that are used for its construction.
It fits fine and was as easy as the original to install, but great care is needed to not tear the filter as it is made of much thinner and more fragile materials than the original Space-Gard replacement filter.

I didn't know I had to change the filter. When a contractor openned up the unit and showed me what was in there it was gross!. The minute I replaced the filter the air moved more easily thru the unit, and it was quieter.

I wanted to save a couple bucks by getting this filter instead of the OEM, that was a mistake! The material used to make this filter is conciderably thinner than the OEM. I installed the filter in my cartridge and within just a couple of hours (running the furnace) the filter "sucked" into the fan. I reordered the OEM filter and have not had any problems. In this case you get what you pay for.
Iaqsource sent the filter very promptly. I will definately buy from Iaqsource again.
