The best part about these filters is that they come in a two pack. You always have one on hand. Because of the style of the filter home stores don't seem to carry them. What's better then having them sent right to your door? This is the second year we've used your company and it really fits our needs! The filters were shipped in a timely manner. Excellent Product. Easy to install and a much improved version of the older styles. Self-Contained and easy to manage.
The overall site was good, with good information and easy checkout. However, the delivery took over a week though. Not a big deal since this was the best price I found and If I recall, shipping was free.

This filter slid right into place. Much easier to use than the folded paper filter. The combs I had to previously use to keep the filter expanded were mostly broken, and the cost of replacing those made these ready-fit filters much more economical.

The original system included media and plastic combs that separated the media. The combs were subject to breakage and were expensive to replace. This media takes the place of the original media and combs/spacers. Easy to install and forget about. Thank you for this fine alternative to the original.

[...] A search on the web using the dimentions was unproductive. Using filter make produced 5 suppliers of varying types. Some filters of the original type requiring the 'comb' seperators and most with the cardboard encasement, which is the type purchased, making a simplified installation.

Purchased the cartridge version as an alternative to maintaining the expandable system where the comb separaters frequently break. Seems like a pretty good solution. Went in easy and seems to be working well.

This is a great alternative to the typical media filter which uses those annoying space pleaters. This compact filter box slips right in in minutes! The only difference (aside from ease of use) is that the Aprilaire filter definitely has more pleats -- maybe 2x as many. Therefore, I suppose that the Aprlaire might be more efficient at filtering out more particles. However, with the ease of use of this product, I won't mind changing the filter anymore, which I always dreaded in the past!

This filter is pre-expanded and ready to use. It has a cardboard frame to hold everything in place and fits inside the existing plastic filter holder. It installs in under 5 minutes, as opposed to the hour it usually takes me because of the spacers/spreaders you have to use with the usual filter replacement. These spreaders break regularly; it was cheaper to buy these two filters than to buy the flat cartridge and spreaders. Overall a good buy and good decision.
