Not worth a penny
By KurtVerified Purchaser from Fort Lauderdale, FL on 7/1/2009
Pros:
Easy To Install
Cons:
EASY to break open, Latch too weak, Metal too thin, Only came with one key
Describe Yourself:
Professional
Bottom Line:

Comments about Beko Heavy Duty Metal Thermostat Guard with Solid Base:

The metal tab that the lock hooks too is so thin, that even the slightest pull, bends the tab out and it unit pops open. I thought I didn't get it closed properly, but upon inspection could clearly see that the latch-tab just bent. I had to rig a stronger hook. It looks secure, but even a child could open with only the slightest pull.

Not worth it
By PhilVerified Purchaser from Lynchburg, VA on 6/28/2009
Describe Yourself:
Homeowner
Bottom Line:

Comments about Beko Heavy Duty Metal Thermostat Guard with Solid Base:

Once securely attached to the wall though locked, an ssociate was able to easily tap the lock lose in a matter of seconds. It appears that even a young child would be able to open it with little effort. Threw it in the trash, it wasnt worth the cost of return shipping.
