Honeywell C7189U-1005 Indoor Temperature Sensor is used with the TH8000 Vision Pro Thermostat series. Connection to sensor is made with 18/2 thermostat wire (not included). The Remote Indoor Temperature Sensor is used to sense temperature remotely at the sensor location and not where the thermostat is located. Benefits: Allows thermostat to be placed in most convenient place for the homeowner - even if that place is not optimal for temperature reading Allows sensing of temperature from remote areas - with control from thermostat location.
