It works great, very accurate and easy to connect. Just 2 wires but you will need thermostat wire to run from sensor to the thermostat.

Comments about Honeywell Honeywell C7089U-1006 Outdoor Sensor:

I installed this with an IAQ control (YTH9421C1002). I am running this outdoor sensor in addition to one extra indoor sensor. I set the controller up to average the extra indoor sensor with the sensor in the thermostat. The outdoor sensor also displays its reading on the control- separately. It works great! The IAQ product literature describes this setup for its control, but other thermostats don't probably support both indoor and outdoor sensors.

Comments about Honeywell Honeywell C7089U-1006 Outdoor Sensor:

Product works to perfection however be sure to install it on the north side of the home. Although I installed it under an eave out of direct sunlight, the eave is in direct sunlight and apparently the nearby air heats up to give false high readings. When the sun is not out the temperature is right on the money and easy to read on my thermostat. Although the reading replaces the humidity reading in the display, you can still view the humidity by hitting the "more" key twice. When the weather warms up I will move it to the north side. Also for some reason I thought it came with 60 ft of wire rather than 6.

Comments about Honeywell Honeywell C7089U-1006 Outdoor Sensor:

I relocated my HVAC thermostat from the opposite end of the house and put it in our master bedroom. I particularly like the ability to program the HVAC system to turn-on, a day or two before returning from vacation.
