I replaced my old thermostat to get programmable fan control. This works great for that. Only con is an audible click whenever the fan or heat turns on/off.

Very frustrating at first getting the unit work correctly. Clock loses time so you have the reset the clock every now and then. This seems to be a QA problem and this should not be an issue with today's technology.

I purchased the thermostat for the added air circulation feature. This feature has 4 time settings per day and works as advertised. The unit will work with a standard 4 wire single stage system or with a dual heating source. I'm impressed with the unit!

I have used this unit for a few weeks and it is great so far. I bought it because it is the least expensive thermostat i could find with a filter use timer and the feature that will automatically activate the fan in order to circulate the air in the house if the heating or cooling cycles have not done so after a specified period of time . Temperature control seems very precise and the overall quality is very good. Installation was also very easy and batteries were provided. The only con to this unit is that it is not as attractive as some other higher priced thermostats, but many probably don't care about that too much.

Once I got the wiring sorted out, piece of cake to install. Fully 7-day programmable, though still have to figure out all of the programming nuances.

I bought the thermostat mainly because it can turn the fan on for extra aeration during the night. It can do it, but it was not designed for that purpose. It was somewhat complicated to adjust so that it comes on only once or twice in the middle of the night.
But I was suprised how well the thermostat controlled the cooling and heating. Much better than my previous one. All-in-all, a very good thermostat.

I am a big fan (pun intended) of the LuxPro PSP series because of their programmable fan. This is particularly useful in ERV applications where outside air exchange is required.

Interestingly, different stats in the PSP line have different temp and fan override modes. I generally use the PSP722E but I needed the timed temp override mode of the PSPA711 stat for this application.

Things missing from the PSPA711 include: fan delay settings and the one-shot 3 hour clean-cycle fan setting, both of which the PSP722E has.

I have never had a failure of LuxPro stat.

Good instructions, love the swing adjustment. Shaved $60 dollars off of a $250 gas bill with just 2 weeks use and the same outdoor temperature.Looking forward to next months Gas Bill.
