We live in an apartment. Initially we replaced the standard thermostat with a programmable one, but it was difficult to use. I searched the internet until I found ProThermostats. Their website was well-laid out and informative. I found this thermostat and although I never heard of the brand, I decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. It's very simple to use and it has a swing of only .5 degrees,but it will wait at least 5 minutes before snapping on - in other words it won't snap off/on every minute or so like others will. If you live in an apartment, or even in a house, get this thermostat. It is a breeze to install and you always know exactly what the temp is - not like those dial-type that you can't tell where you are setting it. [...]
