Although this thermostat costs a bit more than other Honeywell units, it was a Great buy for me and worth it. I mainly bought this after I replaced my aged HVAC systems. I installed Carrier systems with Humidification unit that is very easy to adjust with this thermostat. I am geatting ready to also purchase a wirelss outdoor Temp Sensor which will be automatically recognized with this thermostat so that it can display the outdoor temperature at all times on its screen.

The locking mechanism is kind of confusing at first, but after you read through the instructions and lock yourself out a couple times it becomes clear, not sensible but clear(needs to be a easier way). How you adjust the different stages is also a little overly complicated but works great. very precise controls, and holds temperature great. would definitly reccomend
